The armorial bearings of William Auchinleck Robinson JP MP, of Culloden House, Craigavad, County Down.
The arms are in two distinct parts. I have a feeling that the right-hand section, which appears to be three bears' heads muzzled, below a trefoil, are those of his wife whose maiden name was Culloden.
Intriguingly, the armorial bearings of Forbes of Culloden House, Inverness-shire, includes three bears' heads muzzled.
The possibility cannot be discounted that Patrick Culloden, or his ancestors, were natural offspring of the Forbes' of Culloden.
I took this photograph today. The arms emblazon a gable wall of the Culloden Hotel.
